Per Al-Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc., Alateen Groups/Meetings are “limited to young people affected by someone else’s drinking and the Area Certified Al-Anon Members Involved in Alateen Service (AMIAS) who are serving as the Alateen Group Sponsors”. Al South Carolina AMIAS are certified by the SC Area 50 Alateen Safety and Behavioral Requirements.
