Later that evening, we’ll commemorate Al‑Anon’s 75th Anniversary with a special in‑person banquet from 6:00–10:00 pm ET, at the Newport News Marriott at City Center, in Newport News, Virginia, USA.

Al‑Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc. (AFG, Inc.) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Therefore, individual contributions made directly to the organization are tax-deductible. Please consult your tax accountant on how to claim tax-deductible contributions on your tax return. As we wrap up the year, please remember AFG, Inc. when planning your year-end Seventh Tradition contributions.

How Does Gratitude Bring You Back to A Place of Hope?

When alcoholism clouds our thinking and progress feels invisible, we can find clarity by sharing our current blessings with the newcomers we once were. We can remind ourselves that Al‑Anon offers a safe, loving space and tools and principles that support our daily living. Staying mindful of what we are grateful for can restore our sense of hope. This month’s blog topic is “How does gratitude bring you back to a place of hope?”

  A simple 20-question leaflet to help individuals determine if Al-Anon might be right for them. 

• Fact Sheet for Professionals (S-37E) 
  Ideal for counselors, healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals seeking to understand the family disease of alcoholism and how Al-Anon can help.
